What a charming home KariAnne has. She doesn’t know it, but I love her blog, her home, and everything this young lady does. I stay so busy and do not get to visit blogland as much as I’d like. But every chance I get there are a few blogs I visit, and just swoon over. This is one of them.. KariAnne, has great taste, awesome ideas, and a really wonderful blog, and Fb page.. You must stop in for a visit with her at http://www.thistlewoodfarms.com/ Now let’s take a look at the AFTER, now that you have seen her before photo… Oh KariAnne, I love love love it..

We had vintage (and I use the term very loosely) Berber carpet and I wanted wood. Expensive, wonderful, hand-scraped wood that looked like it had made the journey with the pilgrims over on the Mayflower.
But here’s a little floor math:
New hardwoods = $3500
Painted plywood sub-floor = $120.00
Great Choice KariAnne, I love what you have done here. ~Debbie~
