I want to win these pink pillowcases. LOL. They are beautiful.
I love this vintage look. I am looking for vintage table cloths for a round 70″ table as well. They are not easy to find….lots of rectangular or oval but few round. But, these hankies and pillowcases are beautiful!!!
Hi Debbie! I love all of your posts because everything you share is beautiful! It brings a moment of bliss and a sigh from me as I look at your posts on Facebook. Today I saw your upcoming giveaway and had to jump to your blog and see more information. The beautiful pillowcases look like some we received as wedding gifts back in 1984 and they are so crisp and pretty all at the same time. This past Christmas I passed them to our 20 year old daughter for her hope chest. Now I’m rethinking this decision and have found a place for us to get new pillowcases for our linen closet! Thank you for sharing the information here! I hope to come back and enter the giveaway too!
These are so beautiful. My granny use to embroider pillowcases, they were so pretty. I really regret that I dint get any of them when she died, but I was only 17. Didn’t know at the time how much they would come to mean to me.
Love your hankie pillow cases. Do you have a pattern? Love all your ideas!
Thanks!
Love them!
Those are just so beautiful! I love them.
I do love this site. You have on the most interesting things. The pillow cases I thought for sure they were hankies. Have not seen any pillow cases so beautiful. Thank you so much for the work you do on here. It is so appreciated.
I would love love love to win these! These are just my style! I love your Facebook page and photos that you post ~ it brightens my day!

reminds me of my mama and grandmama. beautiful
love your sight!! enter me in your giveaway!!!!
These look like pillowcases my grandmother had. I used to love them. The workmanship is beautiful. My aunt used to carry cloth ‘hankies’. We need more elegant ladies like these women from long ago. What better way to dress up your bedroom than with these beautiful pillowcases? Can you imagine the look of surprise on someone’s face if they ask you for a tissue and you produced one of these beautiful hankies? Love them both! Warmest Regards, Patricia Padgett
Truly beautiful. I would treasure those. Love the blog and the facebook page

I love following your posts and absolutely LOVE these vintage items. Reminds me of being at Grandma’s house back in the 60′s. Thank you for posting all of the fantastic pictures and recipes.
Brings back wonderful memories of my great grandma!
They’re gorgeous! They remind me of a set that my grandmother had. She kept them in a box in the top of her closet for years, saving them for a special occasion to put on her bed. When she passed on, we found them tucked neatly under her pillow. They never made it on the pillow. My aunt now has them. Love you Grandma.
These are beautiful.
i think these are the most beauitful pillowcases and hanky i have ever seen
I remember watching my Grandmother and Great Grandmother embrodeiry. They would do lots of pillow cases and tea towels. They would make sure each one of their children had a pair. They would also do tea towels. And I remember the hankies. I used to think that a real lady always carried a hankie like these. I would think one of these days when I grow up I will get to carry one. You know I don’t know what happened to that. Plus you never find them in the store. That is one of the first gifts I bought my Grandma and you know what? She made me feel like I had given her gold. I just recently was given the opportunity to pick something of my Dad’s Moms things. She had past before my Mama and Daddy had married, and of course I picked one of her hankies. I am glad to see some people still remember these things. Anita Weeks
where can i get some hankies like this
Love looking at your pictures and reading your posts. I also love vintage hankies just never thought about adding them to my pillow cases. Lovely idea.
These are lovely! My daughter is getting married in 2 weeks and we’ve looked at so much shabby chic and continue to be in love with all we see. These hankies would easily find a place in her wedding! Keep posting lovely items such as this! I never tire of it and wish we were back in the day of using cloth hankies and embroidered pillow cases. Blessings, Nita Green
these are beautiful. these ladies or lady needs to be commended for their work and talent. i wish more folks would appreciate and use these more than the everyday throw away. blessings
my mother had things like these so beautiful , takes me bac when i was a kid lovely …
Where has all the elegance gone from our lives today? These are beautiful beyond compare. I remember, as a child, we would always get a box of embroidered handkerchiefs at Christmas and it was fun to compare the workmanship on them with everyone else’s. The art of hand embroidery seems to have left us for the more perfect machine produced items. Oh yes they are exquisite but the love of the hand worked piece and that of its maker is not quite the same. I’ve even noticed less and less items available in the craft stores. Its an art that is leaving us so fast. Such a shame.
A few years ago I created dresser runners and matching wall hangers for my daughter and daughter-in-law, I enjoyed doing these pieces for them both and I do believe they still use them today.
Happy embroidering.

I’ve never seen pillow cases like these beautiful ones, but I have a number of vintage handkerchiefs I’ve inherited from older friends and family like these printed trims. So lovely, and such sweet, sweet memories they evoke!
