Last year when I posted some real white pumpkins, many said we don;t have them here. So, this year while strolling through Dollar Tree. I found some 1.00 carving pumpkins, plastic worked well too..
I used some of my old Annie Sloan had left over from a job last year, as well as her wax for this small project that takes only minutes.. I painted the orange pumpkins with Old White Annie Sloan, any paint should do.. Allowed them to dry.. After they dried I just added the Annie Sloan dark was with a small brush.. like this .. Not meaning to be perfect as one that grows in nature isn’t either..
Once I had the wax on for a few seconds, I took a soft rag and wiped off and rubbed in the was for the finish.. Now, any paint should do, and minwax in dark works fine. I just used Annie salon because I had some, and i like working with it.. You may purchase Annie Sloan paints brushes etc from Lady Butterbug at http://www.ladybutterbug.com/shop#!__shop for all your paint and accessories.. The finished pumpkin here.. I pan to plabe them in a large flat basked with rea Fall waxed leaves for my kitchen
For 1.00 play around with them, get the kinds involved, have some fun~
